Tuesday Update – Chris

I am sorry that I am so delayed in updating today. I wanted to wait until the trauma team came by so I could give you a clear picture.

Chris will have surgery on Thursday. They will be fixing his knee and putting a pin in his arm so that he will be able to use crutches.

Please pray for the doctors and for Chris and that it will be a very successful, uneventful surgery and that he would be put intubated and extubated without any issues.

Today Chris was able to get out of the hospital bed and into a chair for about 2 hours. What a wonderful difference it made for him! The rib fractures make it very difficult for him to breathe, so the upright position helped a lot. He was also able to have some nutrition today which will be helpful as he works to regain some strength and stamina.

He is still in good spirits and thankful for all of your support.
