Class discussion includes a history of the superhero genre, with activities that include conceiving and designing original superhero figures, and crafting an original comic strip. CCSS in ELA Literacy for grades 6 – 8 are specifically addressed in this creative and inspired lesson plan, with templates for characters and comic strips included.
