Homeschool Explorers Club: Bird Day
Wednesday, November 12
Homeschooling families, enjoy a fun-filled day of hands-on education and meet the Aquarium’s expert aviculturist, Monty Wallace. Learn about the Aquarium’s bird species directly from their caretakers, meet the animals face-to-face, and complete scavenger hunts and educational activities. This program is part of a 4-day series with a different animal theme each day, and further upcoming programs will take place on January 14, 2015 (Fish Day) and March 11, 2015 (Invertebrates Day). Toddler Time: A Members-only Event

8 – 9 a.m.
Join us before we open to the public for a fun morning just for toddlers and their parents! Our 1- to 3-year-old friends can explore the Aquarium’s exhibits and marvel at up-close animal encounters. Adults enjoy complimentary coffee and muffins. Snacks for the kids will also be served. Tickets are $10 per member child (two adults get in free with each participating child). Sea Life by Starlight

Spend a night out and watch the Holiday Parade of Boats as you are surrounded by the aquatic wonder of the Aquarium at Sea Life By Starlight, the Ocean Alliance’s fifth annual holiday event. Enjoy festive cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, music, and a live and silent auction while mingling with fellow supporters of natural conservation. Holiday Extravaganza: A Members-only Event

5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Avoid the chaos of holiday shopping and spend a fun-filled evening at the South Carolina Aquarium. Enjoy pictures with Santa, The Polar Express 4-D Experience, cookie decorating, holiday crafts, live animal interactions and more! This special evening will also include a one-day-only 20% discount in the Aquarium Shop and discounts on gift memberships and tickets. Light refreshments will be served.
