The Lyceum Scholars Program offers $10,000 scholarships to Clemson University in South Carolina. This unique program uses a great books approach to studying liberty, capitalism, the American founding, and the principles of moral character.
Scholars engage with a challenging curriculum, participate in mentorship opportunities, and become part of a small community within a large, research university.
“The Lyceum Scholars Program has provided opportunities to engage in thoughtful conversation with my classmates about the way people make decisions, the issues behind modern politics, and the framework of beliefs each of us holds. The professors have given their time and energy to build valuable relationships with us and to spark our interest in big ideas. Most importantly, Lyceum has made me a sharper thinker and reader as I interact with other people and their ideas. —Elise, Lyceum Scholar ’25
The program is open to incoming freshmen in any major. If you know of any students who would thrive in our program, please encourage them to apply by our December 10 deadline.
