Dear Parents,

Grace and peace to you all! 💛 I hope this message finds you and your families doing well. I wanted to take a moment to share a few gentle reminders regarding progress reports, along with a heartfelt thank you for all the effort you are putting into your children’s education.

First, thank you! 🙌 So many of you are doing an amazing job staying on top of paperwork and faithfully attending meetings. Your diligence and commitment truly reflect the care you have for your children and their learning journey—it does not go unnoticed.

As we continue through the school year, here are a few common errors we’ve been seeing on progress reports. Our goal is to help everyone succeed and avoid unnecessary corrections: 

✨ Common Progress Report Mistakes to Watch For:

• Dates are not represented correctly
• Number of days in attendance is missing or misrepresented
  (Please be sure to list the number of days attended during the progress period—not the entire school year)
• High school grade levels should include numerical grade averages, not letter (alpha) grades
• Progress reports are not signed
• Sample work is missing

🚫On the final report for the year if you have any of these errors, you will be asked to resubmit your child’s progress report.🚫

📘 Please remember to reference the CBCCA Handbook when completing and submitting your progress reports. It is a helpful guide to ensure everything is done correctly and completely.

Let this also be a gentle encouragement to all of us: as we walk in our roles as our children’s teachers, let us remain diligent, faithful, and encouraged. 🌿 “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)
