I have the forms at the office for anyone wishing to coordinate an Ice Skating field trip at the Sav. Civic center as we have done each year. This is the accompanying email:
Hello To All SCCPS and Surrounding Schools…
We are so elated to have the pleasure of inviting you back for the season of WINTER ICE SKATING. Please see the attached forms for more additional information regarding the hours and the days that are set aside for the school group sessions. The sessions are still has they were from last year 1 ½ starting at 10a to 1130a and from 1230p to 2p, the cost is still $5 per SKATER. Please remember that each session can only accommodate up to 250 persons at a time which is the safety of the ice rink. We wish, that we could accommodate more, but it is City Fire Marshall’s policy. Also please understand that there will be other schools that will choose the same day and same time so it’s on a first come first served basis. We must render to those schools that puts in their desired request and payment in advance of booking. So we wish to accommodate all schools fairly. We would that you please respond back to us No Later than DECEMBER 7, 2015 BY 5P.M. | CBCCA Yearbook Photos Oct 14th (Kindergarten thru 11th)
Please have your child/ren to the Children’s Building next Wednesday, Oct 14th, between 9:45am and Noon at CBC to get a photo of them taken for this year’s yearbook. Lisa O’Brien has graciously offered to take the individual photos of the kids Kindergarten thru 11th grade again this year for free for the yearbook. Additional prints may be ordered from her directly. The seniors will have a separate photo day in the future. If you are not a part of CBCCA you are still welcome to have your child’s photo taken and may order from Lisa directly if you so choose. For those who are attending Women’s Life that morning, we will do our best to make sure that we get a photo of your child some time during the morning if they are in attendance. | Palmetto Animal League is hiring! They have two cat care positions open: part-time or full-time. You must be 16 or older to apply. Be prepared to work hard and get very dirty– cleaning up after over 130 cats is no tea party, but it has its rewards. Responsibilities include cleaning cat rooms, feeding cats, laundry, and any other type of cleaning you can think of. Overall positive working environment.
