Yard Work
Name: Megan Shytle
Email: meganshytle03@gmail.com
Hi, I’m Jacob. I’m just starting out my business of helping people take care of their lawns. I’m 10 years old and do my family’s lawn and several people in our neighborhood and around town. I’m working to earn my own money but would also like to help out those who need some help with lawn chores.
I do an average size yard, 1/4acre or less for $20, mowing and weed eating. For single mom’s I have a discount of $10 & if your husband is deployed I have a $15 discount. Bigger yards I would be happy to give you a free estimate!
I also clean up yard trash, rake leaves, pull weeds for an additional fee (free estimate).
Please contact me at heartlandhomestead3@gmail.com or call/text 843-441-6798.
Thanks

We still have a few openings left in our class if you are using the Apologia Physical Science Curriculum for the current school year.
We will be meeting at 11:00am during Women’s Life, We will be reviewing the Modules and doing the Labs associated with them starting in Module 1 tomorrow.
This class is geared for Middle School thru early High School and it is necessary that they be using the Apologia curriculum. Either Edition will work.
If you are considering this, would you please email Amy or myself so we can get you on our email list and to make sure we have enough of the supplies for the experiments we will be doing in class.
thanks so much

Math and Computer help offered
Name: Kim Gardner
Email: jktcpgardner@gmail.com
Hello, my name is Kim Gardner and I am beginning my 2nd year of homeschooling my 3 children. My husband is the pastor at Praise Assembly of God. I am a former math/computer science teacher with 8½ years of experience. I am very interested in tutoring math or computer science. If you are already frustrated with teaching your middle/high school son/daughter in math/computer science, I would love to help. I could meet with your child once or twice a week and even grade work/tests if that is what you would prefer. I am also willing to work with groups of students as well. Since I am homeschooling my own children also, I will have to limit the number of homeschoolers I tutor or teach. Please email me (jktcpgardner@gmail.com) and let me know if you are interested. Thanks for your consideration, and may God bless your home as you train up your children in His Word.
Homeschool Conf- FYI
Our family is hosting a free homeschool conference in Savannah provided by Mr. & Mrs. Steve Maxwell and family of Titus2.com this September. We wanted to invite the homeschool families in your church to come for an evening of encouragement and equipping as the Maxwell family shares practical, yet life-changing, truths from God’s Word in their various new sessions. Mr. & Mrs. Maxwell, homeschooling parents since 1985 and authors of over a dozen books, have successfully raised their eight children to adulthood without the heartbreak of rebellion. They will be addressing questions such as: How can I instill in my children a heart for Jesus?, How do I encourage my children to be motivated to be used of the Lord in whatever situation they are in?, Is it possible for me to accomplish all that is necessary in each day?, How can I teach my children to be productive?. Our family has been blessed by their Biblical teaching on homeschooling and family life. The conference is on Thursday, September 25th from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at The Fellowship Assembly of God (5224 Augusta Road; Savannah, GA 31408). For more information, view the attached flyer. If anyone would like to attend, please call (540-798-2165) or email (basmile4jesus@gmail.com) us.
