If you have good writing/grammar skills and would like to be considered for this ministry, please PM me. Thanks!

ICE SKATING!

ICE SKATING!
I am trying to arrange a group field trip for ice skating! I need a headcount of who might be interested in the event. It is not a commitment to go, I just need the information to book a session. Once I book the session, then we will have a sign up! Date and time may change, but I am trying to keep it to this date!
Savannah Civic Center
December 14 from 12-2
$5 per skater, includes skate rental
Please text me if you might be interested and how many skaters you would have. I will send more information when I hear back! Paula Kizer 843-812-8759

Clemson Scholarship

The Lyceum Scholars Program offers $10,000 scholarships to Clemson University in South Carolina. This unique program uses a great books approach to studying liberty, capitalism, the American founding, and the principles of moral character.

Scholars engage with a challenging curriculum, participate in mentorship opportunities, and become part of a small community within a large, research university.
“The Lyceum Scholars Program has provided opportunities to engage in thoughtful conversation with my classmates about the way people make decisions, the issues behind modern politics, and the framework of beliefs each of us holds. The professors have given their time and energy to build valuable relationships with us and to spark our interest in big ideas. Most importantly, Lyceum has made me a sharper thinker and reader as I interact with other people and their ideas. —Elise, Lyceum Scholar ’25

The program is open to incoming freshmen in any major. If you know of any students who would thrive in our program, please encourage them to apply by our December 10 deadline.

Hey CBC friends,
As most of you know Friend Day is Nov. 5. If you are available to help out that morning we would greatly appreciate it. If you are bringing a friend, then please plan on attending with the friend. We know God will provide the help we need! We are so thankful for the many opportunities God gives us to serve and reach out to those in need of our Savior!
