Due to Sara from Charleston Southern being near someone who tested positive for COVID out of an abundance of caution she will not be at CBC today. We will post a rescheduled date soon.

It is called the John A. Hamrick Scholarship. This scholarship covers full tuition, books, room & board at Charleston Southern University! That’s almost $40,000 per year! Only the top students will be offered this prestigious scholarship, so we want to make sure YOU know how you can be considered!

To apply for the 2021-2022 John A. Hamrick Scholarship, please direct your students to complete the brief form online here: https://apply.charlestonsouthern.edu/account/login?r=https%3a%2f%2fapply.charlestonsouthern.edu%2fapply%2fform%3fid%3d7721d00f-584e-441d-aea1-8e6385e7f4ba to confirm interest. A student must receive an offer of admission and submit the following items by December 10, 2020:

• A résumé listing your activities and accomplishments
• Two letters of recommendation
• A personal essay (topic is your choice!)
• The 2021-2022 FAFSA at fafsa.ed.gov (CSU school code: 003419)

Scholarship finalists will be selected by January 20, 2021 for an in-person or virtual interview with a senior admissions representative. Interviews must be conducted by February 27, 2021 and the recipients of the John A. Hamrick Scholarship will be notified by March 15, 2021.
