Transcript/HS help/Next Meeting
I just want to remind families with High School and or 7th/8th grade students that if you have any questions at all about transcripts, course requirements or simply planning High School years please don’t hesitate to ask me. Now is the time since things are a bit slower in the office due to Covid. We can speak over the phone or in person. Or if you let me know, I can simply give your transcript a look see to make sure you student is on track.
In addition our next fellowship is scheduled for October 13th, Linda Navorska our academic advisor will be address testing: the who, what, when and whys of testing. More meeting details to follow.

I have spoken to several frustrated parents who are unable to find a test site to take the PSAT. From what I understand, most are only accepting their own students due to Covid AND space is limited. They have added a test date in January which hopefully will allow “outside” students to take the test.

My best advice is to try numerous schools, you may even have to travel. See if you can get on a waiting list for the January test date…..you may have to press the issue.

Encouragement Cards for Nursing Homes South Carolina
We are looking for people to make (hopefully with their children) 400 homemade encouragement cards for the Lexington, Columbia, and Saluda SC area Nursing Homes. If you are interested, please respond with how many cards you can make and an approximate date of delivery. You can mail them to His Love Ministries Marty McKenzie PO Box 1881 Lexington, SC 29071-1881. I may also be able pick them up if we can meet somewhere or have them dropped off at a central location.
