DESCRIPTION:

This will be a basic tour of the library that they do for field trips including the back area where the “magic” happens with checking in of materials. They will also discuss basic library stuff as well – fiction vs. nonfiction, using their catalog, what call numbers are, using the self check.  For the older children, Angie will go over their website and research resources available for the older ones.

RSVP by February 9th.  Would like to know the number in attendance and the age or grade level. This will allow me to let the librarian, Angie Grandstaff, have a head count so she can determine if she will need to split the group and/or have an older children’s group and a younger children’s group.
