On Monday August 21, a total Solar Eclipse will occur beginning at 1pm in the Lowcountry, with totality occurring at 2:44pm. Middleton Place is hosting a special event, Moon Over Middleton Place, beginning at 10:30am. Please join us for eclipse themed crafts, educational activities, food and beverage stations, historical tours, and of course the viewing of the eclipse. The first 500 attendees will be supplied with eclipse glasses. Not only is Middleton Place a spectacular venue to view the eclipse, attendees will also have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the phenomenon through crafts and activities. A fun time is guaranteed for all! Homeschool families can experience the event for the discounted education rate of $11 per student and $12 per adult.
