Each spring, a nation-wide high school arts competition is sponsored by the Members of the US House of Representatives, and we want to make sure your students have the opportunity to participate! This competition is open to all high school students in our district, and winners will be chosen by a panel of local artists. The winning piece will be displayed in the US Capitol, along with the winning artwork from all participating districts around the country. Second and third place winners will be displayed in one of Rep. Mace’s District Offices.
Please see below for a full list of rules and the required release form. Submissions are due Saturday, April 23rd. All submissions will only be accepted digitally – please take a high-resolution scan or photo of the artwork and email it to Nathan.Bailey@mail.house.gov. Please format your submission email subject line as follows: “2022 Congressional Art Competition – [First and Last Name] – [County] – [School]”.
