SAT FEE WAIVER
I have information about the SAT fee waiver at my desk if anyone would like a brochure. If you qualify for an SAT fee waiver you are also eligible for up to 4 college application fee waivers as well.

Russian 1 class
CBCCA is once again offering High School Level Russian 1. It will be held on Tuesdays, from 10:00-12:00 in room 115 beginning September 5th. Upon completion of this course the student will receive 1 high school language credit. It will be taught by native speakers Victor and Karolina Vitiuk. The cost is $50.00 per month.
Students younger then high school may take this class as well. Please register for class by August 25th by emailing cbcgay@gmail.com so that enough curriculum will be ready. If you have any questions about the course please contact Victor or Karolina at victorvituk@gmail.com or (843) 592-1275.

Hey!
I am hoping to borrow an HD video recorder (like a handycam or something) for 10 days from someone. I have a video camera of my own, but I am going to a family wedding and would like to have a second video camera going on a tripod for a different angle when I put the video together for them. I am leaving on the 9th and would be back on the 19th. If anyone would trust me to use their video recorder just at the wedding on the 12th, please let me know. Thank you! |

Save the Date! Moon Over Middleton Place
On Monday August 21, a total Solar Eclipse will occur beginning at 1pm in the Lowcountry, with totality occurring at 2:44pm. Middleton Place is hosting a special event, Moon Over Middleton Place, beginning at 10:30am. Please join us for eclipse themed crafts, educational activities, food and beverage stations, historical tours, and of course the viewing of the eclipse. The first 500 attendees will be supplied with eclipse glasses. Not only is Middleton Place a spectacular venue to view the eclipse, attendees will also have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the phenomenon through crafts and activities. A fun time is guaranteed for all! Homeschool families can experience the event for the discounted education rate of $11 per student and $12 per adult.
