Washer/Dryer Set Available

Free front loading washer and dryer available. I have no idea how much life is in them…could be five months or five years. The washer won’t dispense fabric softener anymore. The dryer is louder than it used to be. But they both do their jobs.

Math Videos Available

CBC Co-Op Math Lessons available to watch starting this week.

If you have a student who is in Saxon 87, Algebra 1 or Algebra 2 (3rd Edition), I will be posting videos of these classes on my YouTube page. These start at Lesson 2 for Alg 2, Lesson 7 for Alg 1 & Saxon 87.

I hope this will be a help for those of you who cannot attend Co-Op.

Another great resource for Saxon Math is My Math Assistant. This program automatically grades Saxon math assignments and is a very cost effective way to keep your student accountable.

I am no longer offering online classes as I concentrate on teaching at CBC Co-Op, but if you have a question that I can help you with, please feel free to reach out to me by texting 843-592-1502.

Happy Homeschooling!

https://takethemameal.com/meals.php?t=VGAG4717

Notes from Amy Kuehl:
If you would like to prepare a meal for Frontlines:

Please prepare a meal for 60-70 people (main dish, side(s), dessert). Your meal should be dropped off in the Youth Building kitchen (the building behind the pavilion) at 5:30 PM. We provide plates, napkins, utensils, serving utensils, cups and drinks. We serve the meal from 6:00-6:45 PM. You will not need to stay and serve the meal unless you would like to. The building will not normally be open before 5:30 PM.

Note: If you would like to use the kitchen beforehand, please call Zach to set up a time for it to be opened for you. We need to know ahead of time (preferably Monday or Tuesday) if you would like the building open before 5:30 PM.

There is a weekly budget of $150.00. You can give your receipt to Zach or Caren in the front office for reimbursement.

Note: Please include your first and last name, address and phone number on the receipt and mark the top as Frontlines Meal.

You may cook at your own home or at the Youth building (see above note about opening the building). You can cook by yourself or with a friend and bring the food to the youth building by 5:30 PM so that everything can be set up to be served by 6 PM. If you have any questions please call or text Amy at (757) 581-3219.

Just Beginning? Young moms elementary homeschool questions and encouragement gathering @ Evelyn’s

Hey Friends,
If you have questions about homeschooling, teaching reading or if you have a friend new to homeschooling, I would love to invite you to my home Tuesday, July 18 at 6:30. I will be going over what a typical day should look like for preschoolers, kindergarteners and first graders and then available to answer other questions about homeschooling. Please arrange your own childcare for this event.
IF you would like the info but cannot come Tuesday evening and/or need to bring your kids, I am available on Wednesday 10-12. I have arranged a sitter to be here in my home to help us with those who cannot get childcare for the Tuesday night event. Of course space is limited for the Wed. with children. PLEASE text and let me know if you would like to attend either event. Thanks, Evelyn Owens 843-812-1828

Borrowed Saxon Math Books

Hey – Anyone who has borrowed Saxon math books from me in the past – if you could return them to me I would appreciate it. I am especially looking for my 87 books. You could leave them at the church with my name on it and I can pick up. Thanks!
