From Evelyn:

Please email this morning if you would like to get on the list.  All who are on the list and going please arrive no later that 9:50am, our guided tour starts at 10am.
Boone Hall Plantation Field Trip
Join others at Boone Hall Plantation on Friday, Nov. 9th for a field trip. We will meet at the check- in tent at 10 a.m. and there we will be assigned a tour guide to show us around and share some great info with the kids about the plantation and the civil war days. The tour will be appropriate for various aged children. Fee: $9 for students 6 and up, chaperons $7. All teachers are admitted for free. I can sign anyone up for the trip and you will be admitted as a teacher for free if we get names on the lists prior to arriving. My contact person mentioned you may also “show up” whenever you like without any reservations. If you do not go with group, be prepared to give proof of being a teacher. It is not necessary for you to pay until you arrive at the tent.

If you would like to meet there with the group, e-mail me at cbcevelyn@gmail.com

Visit Boone Hall on the web for more info about “The Living History Field Trip Day”.
We have attended before and it is a great experience. I also mentioned that some families may be bringing younger children and the contact person said that is no problem. If you are on the guided tour he said we will be welcome to take a break and join in at a later time if a break is needed. There is also a picnic area available. If you have questions, please e-mail me.”

There is picnic area if you would like to bring snack. Due to the time you will probably want to eat Lunch before coming.
