Cross Country

Cross Country season is fast approaching! If your athlete is interested in running for the CBCCA Cross Country team, please let us know as soon as possible.

Our first practice will start on Tuesday, July 16 @ 7am, at Burton Wells Rec Center.

ISO Battery Operated Car

I was looking to see if anybody has one of the ride on battery operated kids vehicle that they are wanting to get rid of.  My 4.5 year old granddaughter is coming to visit at the end of the month and I thought it would be fun to get her one of those “Barbie Car” type cars for her to play with.  I’ve priced them at Walmart and they go from any where between $150 to $400 and up which is a bit much for a few days of use.  If you have anything you are wanting to sell or give away I’d appreciate you letting me know!  Thanks,  Bev B.  bevbarnett@gmail.com

Cleaning Help Needed

FYI –
Huspa Plantation has been turned into a VRBO rental. There is a current need @ the Plantation for someone to come in and clean the house after the customer has vacated the premises.

The job would not be on a set schedule; rather, you would come in, “as needed”. ( The rentors would be the ones determining the cleaning dates when they book the property.

Can’t Be There To Help? This is what you can do! YMCA VBS

YMCA VBS is July 15th-19th. This is a local mission of Community Bible Church.

We will be providing the children their own VBS shirts!

We are looking for a few donations of leader tshirts for that week.

If you have a gently used shirt you would like to donate, please leave at front desk at church with a note that it is for YMCA VBS.

Need bags of NON-PEANUT candy. Starbursts, lollipops, etc. would be greatly appreciated! Please also leave that labeled YMCA VBS.

Please pray for us daily from 8:30-12:00 that week. For the leaders, for the children and the staff. That the Gospel message would be clear and that we would be a blessing to our community.

YMCA VBS Sign Up Today!

Many of you have verbally told me that you would like to help with YMCA VBS. This is a wonderful opportunity for students 12 and up to serve in a local mission. We also do need a few adults to help as well with small group and crafts. IR Logo_Simple_AnswersVBS.jpg

There is no missions deposit, but we do have some forms to fill out and you will need a VBS shirt. I am going to put out an announcement for extra shirts today from helpers at our campus VBS.

July 15th-19th at Wardle Family YMCA in Port Royal. 8:30-12:15 Monday, 8:45 – 12:15 Thursday – Friday. I can help with some rides if necessary.

You must be a member of Community Bible Church to help. Your child may help alongside of you if you participate.

Students 12 and over who are members of CBC may participate without their parents.

I will need to finalize by Friday. Thank you!
