Carowinds meet up

Open to anyone!

Hey everyone! It is the annual Post Memorial Day Carowinds Trip again!

We will go on Tuesday May 27th.

You can get tickets online and there are different discounts available at their website!

It is so fun to go after Memorial Day weekend when the park is not busy and usually not super hot!

Everyone makes their own arrangements- we usually pack a lunch and go out to the parking lot to eat it at some point.

And of course an empty water bottle is a must!

We offer core classes that are needed for graduation.

HIGH SCHOOL LITERATURE AND WRITING ONLINE COURSE

Instructor: Kara Kuehl

What: Full Year High School Literature and Writing Course geared towards 9th and 10th graders.
Format: Students will complete work on their own during the week and the class will meet weekly for online live classes. All papers will be graded, and returned to parents via email.

A little about me…
Literature has always been my favorite school subject. I love the beauty of storytelling through creative writing. Having diligently studied American Literature, I passed the CLEP test, exempting me from taking college literature. I am currently a student at Moody Bible Institute, majoring in Communications with a creative writing emphasis. I am employed on campus as a writing tutor where I coach my fellow college students on how to write their papers professionally and academically. I have assisted in the teaching of other literature courses and have enjoyed igniting a love of excellent writing within the students (both the writing of others as well as the desire to cultivate their own).
