Let us bless the Findlay family as they are currently displaced from their home due to a tree falling during Helene.

Bought this car from my aunt in Florida in March of this year. She bought the vehicle brand new and my uncle took great care of it. Nothing wrong with the car, we just had a baby and need an upgrade to something bigger. The tires are a year old, minor cosmetic damage to the passenger front seat as seen in pictures. Exciting news…in addition to our Cross Country team, CBCCA is planning to have a Varsity Girls’ Soccer team. We hope to begin playing games this coming Spring 2025. We’ll have an info meeting soon. Homeschool meeting in Cafe

Tonight (09/10/2024) is our September fellowship for moms led by J’Lane Dunning. We will meet in the cafe from 6:30-7:00pm for drinks and fellowship and J’Lane will speak at 7:00pm on the topic: “Homeschooling a Houseful: When You Feel Overwhelmed.”

As you know this is a great way to connect with other homeschool moms that you might not see on a regular basis and of course an awesome way to be encouraged in your homeschool journey.

Notes from Zach Holmes:
If you would like to prepare a meal for Frontlines:

Please prepare a meal for 60-70 people (main dish, side(s), dessert). Your meal should be dropped off in the Youth Building kitchen (the building behind the pavilion) at 5:30 PM. We provide plates, napkins, utensils, serving utensils, cups and drinks. We serve the meal from 6:00-6:45 PM. You will not need to stay and serve the meal unless you would like to. The building will not normally be open before 5:30 PM. 

Note: If you would like to use the kitchen beforehand, please call Zach to set up a time for it to be opened for you. We need to know ahead of time (preferably Monday or Tuesday) if you would like the building open before 5:30 PM. 

There is a weekly budget of $150.00. You can give your receipt to Zach or Caren in the front office for reimbursement. 

Note: Please include your first and last name, address and phone number on the receipt and mark the top as Frontlines Meal. 

You may cook at your own home or at the Youth building (see above note about opening the building). You can cook by yourself or with a friend and bring the food to the youth building by 5:30 PM so that everything can be set up to be served by 6 PM. Spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, and cupcakes
Casseroles, veggies and dip, and brownies
Sandwiches, chips, and cookies
Chili, baked potatoes, and ice cream sandwiches
