For the last several years, I have taught high school Spanish classes – Spanish 1 and Spanish 2. The classes are on Wednesdays and run for about an hour, maybe more depending on how large the classes turn out to be. I’d like to begin classes on August 30th and am pretty flexible on time. I reserve time for the class or classes from 2-5. So, when you contact me about the class, let me know a time you prefer, and I will try my best to accommodate. Because I will administer and grade the tests in class, there is no need to purchase the quiz and test booklets. The monthly fee per student is $60. One change for this year is that I am using Abeka’s new Spanish curriculum because they have discontinued the curriculum I had been using. Sorry to those of you who have the old books already from previous students! A list of the required materials will be below.
I am excited to have the opportunity to help your students come to love Spanish as much as I do. My prayer is that the students will be able to use what they learn to impact a Spanish-speaking person they may encounter for the kingdom of God.

Hey Friends, If you have questions about homeschooling, teaching reading or if you have a friend new to homeschooling, I would love to invite you to my home Tuesday, July 18 at 6:30. I will be going over what a typical day should look like for preschoolers, kindergarteners and first graders and then available to answer other questions about homeschooling. Please arrange your own childcare for this event. IF you would like the info but cannot come Tuesday evening and/or need to bring your kids, I am available on Wednesday 10-12. I have arranged a sitter to be here in my home to help us with those who cannot get childcare for the Tuesday night event. Of course space is limited for the Wed. with children. CBC Elementary Co-op might be the place for you! We meet Tuesday mornings from 9:00 to noon starting August 22nd for 28 weeks. The morning begins with group assembly and recitation and then breaks out into grade-level classes with enriching lessons in Language Arts, History, Science and Art.
This morning can be used as supplemental enrichment alongside your current curriculum or you can follow along with the curriculums that we use in class.

We’re launching an online curriculum to help your students pass CLEP tests and earn college credits in high school. We have supplemental options that pair with a curriculum they already use and standalone semester-length courses (think a biblically-focused AP test).”
