DO YOU KNOW OF A STUDENT WHO NEEDS $500 TO $1,000?
The annual Senior Division of the S.C. Bar Association’s Law Day Essay Contest provides a wonderful opportunity to learn about our legal system, justice, get creative, and win money simply by writing an essay of 1,000 words or less.
The Law Day 2021 theme is “Advancing the Rule of Law NOW”. The rule of law is a set of principles, or ideals, for ensuring an orderly and just society. Many countries throughout the world strive to uphold the rule of law where no one is above the law, everyone is treated equally under the law, everyone is held accountable to the same laws, there are clear and fair processes for enforcing laws, there is an independent judiciary, and human rights are guaranteed for all.
Eligibility: The Law Day Essay Contest is open to all students attending a public or private high school, or being home schooled, within South Carolina who are in grades 9-12.
Entry Deadline: June 4, 2021, by noon.

Yearbook Family Page Glitch Check!
From Sue Cerrillo, Charlotte Cushman & Tracy Behrens –
Hey CBCCA friends!
We had a technical glitch this year with the log in and some family pages are not showing up in the yearbook because of a sign in problem.
If your name is NOT ON THE LIST BELOW – could you please contact Sue Cerrillo at: 712-249-1095 if you have completed your family page?
We also have a couple of families that were working on pages or planned to do a page who do not have completed family pages in TreeRing. Please let Sue know if you need help with finishing your page or whether you have decided not to do a page this year after all.
If you have not turned in your individual pictures of your students, please text them with the correct spelling of their names and their grade to Tracy Behrens. These can be fun selfies or just a standard head shot. Point and shoot with your phone and text it to Tracy at: 843-227-0300.
