| Pizza, Pictures, and a Program! What? CBCCA Yearbook Pictures When? Tuesday, October 8th, 5-7pm Same Night as the Pizza & Mandatory Homeschool meeting 🙂 Where? Room 102 in the Main Bldg at church Who? All CBCCA Kids K-11th grade and any other Homeschoolers who’d like a picture. Mark your calendar and knock out 2 things at once. Lisa O’Brien will be at the church in Room 102 from 5-7pm to take photos for all the kids K -11th grade for our CBCCA yearbook. She has done this for us for the past few years. There is no cost to get your photos taken and you are not required to purchase the photo or the yearbook. We just like to have every child in our group represented in the yearbook. Just show up before, during, or after your pizza party in room 102. All CBCCA families -please try and make this night. Other HS students that would like their photo taken are welcome to show up. If you’d like to purchase a photo of your child/ren for this school year, Lisa will post them to her website for you to order once they are ready. Communicators for Christ Conference
We are just two weeks from Communicators for Christ Conference in Columbia. We just finished in Louisiana.
All I can say is WOW!! This one is a don’t MISS!
The student and adult tracks align around the 5C’s (communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, and cultural intelligence) all wrapped up by competence, character, and connection. Watch this : https://vimeo.com/354061521

Here’s are some of the comments we heard:
“This is like a piece of heaven (community)!” “This place is different! I had real conversations here.”
Transformation experiences are happening!
The student who resisted every activity on Friday was helping her track create a presentation on Saturday.
The student who clung to his dad’s hand was speaking in the closing program.
The student who had trouble connecting in his community because of a toxic culture found a place of belonging and connection.
The mom who said she felt such a gap in her life and a longing for community found it.
Students who learned new skills on Friday applied them all to create a presentation together.
Y’all, people drove 4 & 7 hours to get here and they were SO glad they came. Who can you call and help them join us! Don’t miss the Communicators For Christ Conference in Columbia, October 4 & 5th!

Temporary place to stay and job

A friend of mine is trying to help a woman who is recovering from being abandoned by her husband and who needs work and a temporary place to stay until she can get on her feet. She is a professing believer who has recently made a decision to get back into fellowship with the Lord.

Fall Clothing Swap REMINDER!!!
Come and share the gently used clothes your children have outgrown and trade them for sizes they need!
Drop off gently used children’s clothes in the Atrium:
Wednesday, October 9th during Women’s Life or evening services
Or Thursday, October 10th, 12:00pm to 4:00pm
If you donated come back Friday, October 11th, from 10am – 12pm for first pick. If you are unable to donate you can still come “shop” from 12 – 2pm.
We are looking for nice, gently worn clothing that will truly be a blessing to other families, items that would be a blessing to you.
Other things we would love to see are children’s shoes, baby gear, maternity clothing, toys, books, etc.
It’s all free and open to everyone.
