The next Fellowship is on April 12 at 7:00pm and will be for dads. Dessert will be served! The topic is: “What I Wish My Husband Knew….Lamentations From A Homeschool Mom”. But I need your help!!!! What is it that you wish your husband knew???? Maybe you have perfect communication when it comes to your homeschool and if so let me know how he so wonderfully complements your homeschool. But if not, please send in your suggestions……you will remain anonymous!! It can be something fun, like, “I got out of my PJ’s 30 minutes before you got home from work”, or serious, “I am really struggling teaching math to my 8th grader…I need your help”. HOMESCHOOL MEETING TONIGHT!!!
REMINDER:
We will meet in the Fellowship Hall! Enter the children’s building to the left of the back patio. Sign-in will be available! You DO NOT have to stay until 9!
Come a little early and bring a dish to share for a potluck meal together. Food will be set up on the kitchen side of the fellowship hall.
IF YOU HAVE CURRICULUM to GIVE AWAY – come a little early and put on the free table!
We will get our food between 6-6:30 and then have 30 minute discussion about curriculum and some ways to decide what is best for your family. Then from 7-9 you can take a look at some of the ones that have been helpful to our homeschool families.
There will be tables set up with displays of traditional and non-traditional curriculum as well as members of our church available to discuss CBCCA Co-Op, Highlands Latin and Classical Conversations programs.
We will also have mentor moms available to listen to some of your questions and concerns.
Come find new friends and help for homeschooling!
