Yearbooks!
Good morning Yearbook Families!
We pray you are all enjoying your summers!
YEARBOOKS are in!
Please pick up your yearbook in the atrium at the small counter in the corner before or after service. Your names are listed in ABC order for those that have not got theirs yet. (I know many have).
Just a side note, Those of you that bought the hard cover books, please be aware the binding of the cover was poorly done. Many have had to call treering and their book replaced (including me). Thus far, no one has any trouble getting the replacement book for free though.
We have had a fun and exciting year. We are hoping to get pictures early during the year. This coming up year, we want to incorporate “Acts of Service” where we highlight our youth serving around the church.
Also, Our 2025/2026 books will go on sale starting AUGUST 1, 2025. I have been told that if we purchase them early we can get a discount on them. I will be sending out another email around that time to remind families to purchase early for the savings.
Please if you have any concerns or questions, please reach out anytime. Dacia Eady (785-375-6441) (eadyfamily5@gmail.com)
Thanks so much!
Yearbooks!
If you have ordered a yearbook, please come pick it up! They are located on the small counter in the corner of the Atrium!
Spanish 1 Class Available
From Jeanah Garcia –
Hello, folks! I am teaching a Spanish 1 high school class on Wednesday afternoons from 2:00-3:00 starting August 27th. Since I will be hosting the class in my home, I have limited space available. I can provide more details about specific books for those who are interested. For now, below are some of the details to consider.
Details about the class:
– $70 per student
– We will be using Abeka’s new High School Spanish 1 curriculum
– I will administer and grade tests in class (no need to buy the test book)
If you are interested in your student or students taking the class, please reach out and let me know through email at laragirljlv@gmail.com.
Companion Needed
From Cindy –
We are looking for a ‘companion” for my mom, Sylvia Thomas, an 82 year old widow who is self-sufficient; however, she gets a little anxious in the evening and doesn’t like to be alone; so we are wanting to find a female that could spend nights with her to be a “presence” in the home. Maybe you know someone, young or old (maybe another widow), who needs FREE room and board as well as a SALARY – who could move in to a spare room/bathroom at Sylvia’s home in Pigeon Point; or maybe it could be 2-3 people that could tag team the nights? We are open to different scenarios.
If you know of anyone that may be interested, please call or text my brother, Rick Thomas, at 843-521-3786; or myself, Cindy Smith, at 843-521-6486. Thank you so much.
