What to Expect for Conference Tomorrow! First session starts at 9 am.

We are thrilled that so many couples have chosen to come to the Building Faith Families Conference tomorrow. Online registration is no longer available – but you may still register at the door tomorrow.

A couple of housekeeping items-

  1. Please try to arrive between 8:35-8:50 so that we can check you in for registration.
  2. Children are welcome! However – there will be no childcare tomorrow.
  3. Lunch is provided for paid adults only. If you bring your children, please pack them a lunch or you may order a cheese or pepperoni pizza tomorrow when you check in at the registration table. **Exception  –  If you paid for “couple” and your spouse was unable to come, please feel free to share his/her meal with your child.
  4. Lunch will be buffet style and will include sub sandwiches. We will have tables set up and would love for all the different families to sit together and discuss what we are learning tomorrow.

If you have any questions between now and then – please feel free to call me or text me at 843-592-1502. Charlotte Cushman

The Divine Blueprint for Building a Family of Faith

In Deuteronomy 6, God’s simple and effective plan for the family begins with parents loving God with everything in them and having His word on their hearts. When parents have established their own relationship with God and His word, they are equipped to teach their children to love God and His word.

Biblical Principles of Communication for the Family

Loving God and each other are relationships. Relationships are built on edifying communication. No one can build up, or tear down, more than those that we love the most. In this workshop we will examine how to hear and understand each other in a safe place.

Loving Your Family as God Has Loved Us

The second command is to love others as we want to be loved. But the ‘new commandment’ that Jesus calls us to implement, is to love others as we have been loved by Him. This is a different perspective that focuses our attention on Jesus Himself and how He has loved us.
