Feedback Please!

As we plan and pray for the next school year, I am interested to know your thoughts on the monthly fellowships.

Were they a help/encouragement to you? Did you like the focus on encouragement rather then “training”? Is there anything you would like discussed/addressed in a fellowship? Was the day of week/time convenient? Did lack of childcare keep you from attending?

Please send any and all comments to cbcgay@gmail.com

Thanks for your input! Claudia Gay

Official Transcripts

As the end of the school year approaches, I get many requests for official transcripts. Due to Pastor Carl’s schedule and the general “busyness” of this time of year, please allow 7 days turn around time for all official transcript requests!
Thanks for your help in this!

Common Core-Got questions?

I have had quite a few people ask me questions lately about the Common Core State Standards.  I am in the boat with you all and doing research as it will affect all children on some level.  My husband asked me this evening, “So where did this come from?  How did this happen?”  It might even be a hot issue in the next presidential election. I am posting a link to a 39 minute video that HSLDA has put out and it is well done and very thought provoking.  Grab yourself a cuppa and watch to the end.  Being a home educator, I love what Paul Horton, Wayne Brasler, and Michael Farris have to say at around the 20-something minute mark. Pray for our nation’s leaders.  Pray for wisdom and endurance for our state governors and state elected officials.  Pray for continued freedom to educate our children as God directs.

Blessings to you all,
Tammy Waldron

Survey!

Dear CBCCA families,

I am conducting a little survey in regards to record keeping and and would love it if some of you who have found a good record keeping system or plan book would respond?  Please copy and paste these questions in an e-mail with your answers to tammywaldron@gmail.com.  Thank you so much and may God richly bless the remainder of your school year.  It’s almost summer!!!!  ~Tammy Waldron
