SKATEFEST 2013
From Charles Cox:
I know this is early, however, the Savannah Civic Center actually reached out to us because they’ve narrowed the window for “group” ice skating this year and they wanted to offer us a slot.
So we’ve been plugged in for:
DEC 20, 2013 from 12:30 to 2:00
COST: $5.00 per skater, observers are free but I still need a tally of everyone in your group.
DEADLINE: December 11 for payment.
WHO: CBCCA, family, friends, and fellow homeschoolers
Please send email to: coxfamsc@gmail.com and indicate how many skaters and non-skaters that you have. Checks can be mailed to: 110 shell point rec. park, beaufort, SC 29906. Please call 843-476-6868 if you have any more questions.
NOTE: They still have their regular schedule for “public” ice skating; only the group sessions were reduced this year.

WHEN: Wednesday, October 23 9:45 – Noon
WHERE: Children’s Bldg at CBC

For those in Women’s Life, please send your kids to their classrooms/Presidential that morning and we will come and get them out of class for their photo. If you are a family just coming for photos, please go to Room 101.
Additional photos CAN BE ordered and paid for any time this day if you’d like. You do NOT need to be with your child when their photo is taken to order prints. Lisa will have order forms and can take checks or debit cards when ordering.
There will be a second/final photo session on Wednesday, November 13th at the church from 9:45-Noon. Families of CBCCA NOT attending Women’s Life and many of the 9th -11th graders may want to consider this session, so it is less hectic. 🙂

Yearbook!
From Sue Cerrillo:
Tracy Behrens and I are going to be picking up and running with the yearbook this year. If you would like to join us, we would love to have you.
We are going to get last year’s books together and printed and get those out to those of you who were wanting one. The cost will be calculated and passed on in another email in the near future.
This email is for the upcoming school year.
We will be taking individual photos of the kids on Wednesday, October 23th and Wednesday, November 13th during Women’s life.
Miss Lisa will be set up in Room 101 and we will make sure that if your child is there that day, they will have their photo taken.
If for some reason you will not be there on the 23rd there will be a second session on Nov 13th in the morning.
For those of you in CBCCA who are NOT participating in Women’s Life, we would encourage you to bring your kids on the Nov 13th date between 9:30 and 11:30 to have their photos taken. There will be fewer kids on that day and these two dates will be the only ones offered if you’d like your child/ren to appear on the page in the yearbook or you’d like to order photos from Lisa.
We will send a reminder email next week. But if you have any other questions, or would like to help, please let Tracy or myself know.
In Him,
Sue Cerrillo
