We need people to volunteer to cook dinner on Thursdays for the Frontlnes youth ministry at CBC. Dinner is served from 6 -7 PM. A main dish, a side dish and a dessert(s) are needed each week to feed about 75-80 people. Drinks, cups, plates and silverware, etc. will be provided. There is a weekly budget of $125.00. You can turn your receipt into Drew Kuehl or directly to Caren in the front office for reimbursement. You may cook at your own home or at the Youth building (brand new oven/stove). You can cook by yourself or with a friend and bring the food to the youth building by 5:30 PM so that everything can be set up to be served by 6 PM. If you have any questions please call Amy Kuehl at 757-581-3219. Please also check out the CBC Youth Ministry Facebook page for more info. This is a wonderful way to serve the youth at CBC. Thanks in advance to all who sign up to help.

We have a couple in the Discovery Class with us who are moving to Beaufort in September. Right now they are driving an hour to and from church and they are so excited to be closer so they can be more involved.
They are looking for 4-5 strong men to help them with a few heavy pieces of furniture on Sept 21. If you can help with this or have a teenage boy that you can volunteer, please contact Polly Walker. Her number is: 912-531-1870. Thanks so much in advance for coming alongside this sweet couple during their move.

Please consider coming alongside this family –
My name is Jeanette and I am a member of Community Bible Church.
This is the situation, my son was hit by a car while working and has just returned to work. I thank God for placing a hedge of protection around my son and showing all of us that his grace and mercy is sufficient and that he is not done with him yet. There is work to be done for the kingdom.
He and his fiance is expecting their first child together and is not in a good financial place right now. They are in need of everything for this child. It is a boy and is due December 15th. I am reaching out for any help or resources you might be aware of.
I’m a true believer in not waiting until the last minute and God directed me to first start with my church family. Thank you in advance for any assistance or guidance you may have.
Last Name: Ramirez

Please help us to locate this book.
Instruction for Righteousness was misplaced after the Book Blast this year. If you sold, please look through your boxes of books to verify it wasn’t mistakenly put in your box. And if you bought this book, please verify the tag was pulled.
We do our best to make sure all books are returned to the correct owner, but the Book Blast is a large undertaking and human error happens.

A nice Christian family of five is looking for a 3 bedroom house to rent. They were paying $1,000 a month, but they have to move due to the house being sold. If you know of anything, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will forward it to them. They have 1 pet and would prefer a fenced in yard.
They could be left over scrap pieces that are too small for a quilt, but large enough to maybe cut into 2-3ft strips.
If they would like to donate to the cause, please have them contact me, Sue, and I can arrange to pick it up from them or meet them at church to get it. ( there just isn’t a good place at church for me to collect something like this, so this seems just as easy.)
Please feel free to word it any way you’d like. you can include my email and phone
