Recycled Art Exhibit coming to Habersham!

The home educators of CBCCA have been cordially invited to participate along with four other schools in the annual Habersham Earth Day celebration on Friday, April 19.  We had many participants last year but this year it is an invitation only event.  The entries will be judged as a group and it can be a collaborative effort or individually pieces.  This year’s theme is “How Does Your Garden Grow?” The contest will be judged by students from USC masters program and the exhibit will get media exposure from the local area. Teacher Training February 5th

Hey Moms

It’s that time of year again.  Time for TESTING!!!
Join us Tuesday February 5th at 7pm for Teacher Training.  Doors open at 6:45pm, we will start at 7:05pm with Mrs Mary Beth Griz giving us the Info we need on testing and which test suits our Family/School.  This is a great meeting for Moms of current 2nd Grade and up.  Testing starts in 3rd Grade, but I highly recommend 2nd Grade Moms attend!  Also if you attended last year I still highly recommend you come again this year!
Please bring a Potluck Snack to share!  I will be providing the Beverages and Paper Products.
There will be an On Time Drawing of Prizes for those who come by 7:05pm!
There are only 3 more Teacher Trainings and the CHEC to get in your 3 Meetings a Year Quota!!!  Email Claudia at cbcgay@gmail.com if you need to know how many Meetings you are needing.

Pass Testing

CBCCA Mom’s Fellowship & Time of Prayer and Praise Tonight

CBCCA Mom’s Fellowship & Time of Prayer and Praise
Tuesday January 8th, 2013 7pm in the World Missions Cafe (doors open at 6:45)
There will be an on time drawing for those who are present by 7:05.
Please join us in praying for the 2nd half on our School Year, Praising the Lord for the work He has done in the 1st half and anything else that has been going on!
This is NOT a Teacher Training and will NOT count as a needed meeting for your 3 meetings a school year.

TEACHER TRAINING

TEACHER TRAINING:
Tuesday December 4th, 2012 7pm World Missions Cafe
Doors will open at 6:45pm.  Please bring a Finger Food Snack to share.  I will be providing coffee, egg nog, water, and paper goods.
There will be an “On Time Drawing” for those who are there by 7:05pm, we will start at 7:05pm
*If you arrive late please come on it w/o distrubing the Class, thank you*
We will have some speakers speaking to us on How to Homeschool Your Special Needs Child, How to Encourage those with Special Needs Children, How Does God Want Us to Treat Our Special Needs Children, How to Help the Sibling of a Special Needs Child Not Feel Left Out.
I encourage everyone to come on out!  We will have a question and answer time as well.  Fellowship will begin at 8pm (if you would like to join and not get credit for a Teacher Training you can come at this time).
This is the LAST Teacher Training until February.  We will have a Fellowship on January 8th at 7pm.

Teachers’ Training

Moms,
Join us THIS Tuesday November 6th at 7pm for our 2nd Teacher Training this school year.  Mrs. Claudia Gay will be going over how to do Reports and Transcripts.  Please email her at cbcgay@gmail.com w/ any of your question ahead of time so she might be able to address them.  Also Melissa Carter, “Science Lady”, will be speaking for a few minutes on the Science Fair and Robotics Club.  This is especially important info for Middle School and up!  She will also have some FREE books at this meeting as she is moving soon and doesn’t want these books to move with her.
At 8pm we will be having a time of Q&A and Fellowship.  Please feel free to join us for this time even if you are not coming to the Teacher Training.
Please bring a potluck snack to share during our Fellowship.  I will be providing all the paper goods, coffee, and water.  Doors open at 6:45pm.  I will be doing something different and doing an “On Time Drawing” for those who are there by 7:05pm when we start.  There will be a prize to be won by one or two blessed moms!
