Ladies Only Meeting Tomorrow Night! Tantrums or Tyrants – A Mom’s Guide to Biblical Discipline
If you haven’t entered the drawing … there is still time! To be eligible to win either post (https://www.facebook.com/charlotteemilycushman), message me privately or email me – charlottecushman@gmail.com with your most challenging discipline issue.
Then come tomorrow night February 3rd at 7 pm to Community Bible Church of Beaufort, SC to Community Bible Church Christian Academy meeting Tantrums or Tyrants – A mom’s guide to biblical discipline.
Giveaways include copies of Teach Them Diligently, Don’t Make Me Count to Three, The Heart of Anger, Shepherding A Child’s Heart, Age of Opportunity, The One-Year Children’s Bible and the Wise Words flip chart. You must be present to win!
My prayer is that we will be able to address biblical discipline by God’s grace from a mom’s perspective. All area moms (homeschooling or not!) are invited to join us as we explore what God’s Word says about children and discipline. I am humbled by this opportunity to “get real” about what it is like for a big sinner to teach a lot of little sinners! I also hope to help you to avoid some of the pitfalls that I have fallen into by trying to discipline apart from the Gospel.
Hope to see you there!

Bricks 4 Kids at Island Playground
From Erica –
We are having a morning Lego building and bouncing drop off camp this Friday October 24th at Island Playground.
Drivers Ed Class Offered at CBC
Do you need Drivers Ed? In South Carolina you must take an approved Drivers Education class in order to get a drivers license under the age of 17.
I have spoken with Mr. Valentine of Valentine Driving School and he is willing to do a class for us homeschoolers on Friday, October 17 at CBC. The class will be from 8-3 and cover the classroom portion of the program. He will schedule the driving days with each student that day for another time that is convenient for each student.
The total cost of the class is $225. If enough people sign up he may lower the price. We need at least 4 students to make the class.
You do not have to have a permit to take the class. He does recommend if the student is 14 that they are close to their birthday so they will not forget the information. You must have a permit to do the driving portion. If the student has just gotten their permit then he schedules the driving portion a little closer to the driving test day.
Please let me know by September 26 if you are interested. You can email or text or call me.
