Frontlines Meals

We need people to volunteer to cook dinner on Thursdays for the Frontlnes youth frontlines pizzaministry at CBC. Dinner is served from 6 -7 PM. A main dish, a side dish and a dessert(s) are needed each week to feed about 75-80 people. Drinks, cups, plates and silverware, etc. will be provided. There is a weekly budget of $125.00. You can turn your receipt into Drew Kuehl or directly to Caren in the front office for reimbursement. You may cook at your own home or at the Youth building (brand new oven/stove). You can cook by yourself or with a friend and bring the food to the youth building by 5:30 PM so that everything can be set up to be served by 6 PM. If you have any questions please call Amy Kuehl at 757-581-3219. Please also check out the CBC Youth Ministry Facebook page for more info. This is a wonderful way to serve the youth at CBC. Thanks in advance to all who sign up to help.

Fall Clothing Swap

Come and share the gently used fall/winter clothes your children have outgrown and trade them for sizes they need!

Drop off gently used children’s clothes in the Atrium:

Wednesday, September 20, 6:00pm to 8:00pm – during church service

Thursday, September 21st, 12:00pm to 4:00pm

If you donated come back Friday, September 22nd, from 10am – 1pm for the best selection. If you are unable to donate you can still come “shop” from 1 – 3pm.

We are looking for nice, gently worn clothing that will truly be a blessing to other families, items that would be a blessing to you. Other things we would love to see are children’s shoes, baby gear, maternity clothing, toys, books, etc.

It’s all free and open to everyone.

Any leftover items will be donated to a local outreach. For more information email May at may@tonyandmay.com

Woman’s Life-new start date!!

From AUDREY:
So many of our women have been affected by hurricane Irma-through power outages, neighborhood flooding, road closings, evacuation, clean up and families. With that said, Woman’s Life will START STRONG Wednesday, Sept. 27th and night sessions Monday Oct. 2. Take care of your families and your homes and I will look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, Sept. 27th as we begin “The Bible Tells Me So”.
