| My name is Jeanah Vernoy and I will be teaching group piano lessons for CBC’s School of Music on Wednesday afternoons starting August 29. Students must be Community Bible Church members (not necessarily CBCCA members), at least 8 years old, and have a working keyboard to practice on at home during the week. Tuition will always be $40 per month (charge includes four 50-minute classes per month) and due the first Wednesday of each month. If there are less than four weeks of classes in a particular month you are not charged when there is a fifth lesson in a different month. The sibling discount is $40 for the first sibling and $32 for any other siblings taking piano. So, if you have three students taking piano it would be $40 + $32 + $32. In addition to the first month’s payment, you will need to purchase the book from me. There are two books for the year, but you will only need to buy the first one from me to start and then the second one when we get into it later in the year. The book is $11, and it would be best that each sibling have his own book. They will also need to bring a notebook to record their weekly assignments. Hello, everyone! My name is Jeanah Vernoy. On August 27, I would like to begin teaching a Spanish 1 class primarily for high school students. However, I am willing to consider any 7th graders that may be interested on a case by case basis. The class will be held at my home every Monday afternoon from 2 to 3:30. I am planning on focusing my time through the books by concentrating on developing conversational skills. The monthly fee per student is $50. I am excited to have the opportunity to help your students come to love Spanish as much as I do. My prayer is that they will be able to use what they learn to impact a Spanish-speaking person they know for the kingdom of God. The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education is doing an in-depth State Scholarship & Grants workshop specifically for Home School Associations on Monday, August 20, 2018. This workshop will be held from 10:00am – 12:00pm at Columbia International University (7435 Monticello Road. Columbia, SC 29203).

Transcript Requirements
The workshop will be held in the Pamplin Auditorium in McQuilkin Building. A CIU map is attached showing where parking and the building are located.
CIU has graciously offered lunch tickets at no cost for those that would like to have lunch in the cafeteria after the workshop. CIU staff will be available prior to the start of the workshop for general questions regarding the admissions process and financial aid questions. Please RSVP for the workshop and let me know if you would like a lunch ticket by Friday, August 10th. Both the workshop and lunch are free. We ask that only the Accountability Leader(s) or person(s) responsible for scholarships attend. Should you have any questions, please let me know.
