Progress Reports

From Tammy Waldron:

I just want to encourage CBCCA members to begin thinking about progress reports, which will be due Feb. 28th.  If you have not turned in last year’s reports or you are not current for this school year, it is extremely important that you do so for the integrity of our association.  With HR 3478 not completely dead, it is even more important not to have empty files.  CBCCA could be audited at any given time and we need to be following the laws and honoring the Lord.  If you need any help in this area, maybe you’re not sure how to do a report or just a little overwhelmed, please contact me and I would be more than happy to help. Blessings to you as you seek to educate your children in the Lord!  Contact me at: tammywaldron@gmail.com or 846-0894

Need Help for Integrated Math 1

My brother Daniel has been homeschooled most of his life. My Dad and my Mother were having health problems and had to put him in to public school. He is 18 years old and is supposed to graduate in June. The problem is: He was in Bluffton High school for awhile and for some reason or another they did not have him take one of his required math classes. He just recently found this out. He is in Well Branch High School now and they are giving him until the 28th of this month to finish this math. It is integrated Math 1. It is through Apex, an online program.
I am trying to find someone that may be able to help him in the evenings and or weekends. He is out of school all day this Friday. Even if someone could take a look at it and try to help him with some of it would be a great help.
Please email Candy at candym1962@aol.com
    Thank you

Opportunities to Help Get Curtis Bostic Elected

If you believe that Curtis Bostic is the best candidate to represent you and your family in the U.S Congress, as we do, would you please consider helping our local efforts to get him elected?  Informing our friends, neighbors, and co-workers of the upcoming special election (March 19) is step one.  Since this is a special election, many folks may not have heard about it or do not realize the importance of this election.  Second, we need to tell as many people as possible about candidate Curtis Bostic – who he is, and for what he stands. (Mr. Bostic is *Pro- Spending Cuts *Pro Life * Pro Gun Rights *Pro Traditional Marriage and *Pro Parents’ Right to Direct Education).

There are many opportunities for individuals and families to help get Mr. Bostic elected.  Some will help financially by donating to his campaign while others may host a drop-in at their home so that friends and neighbors can meet Mr. Bostic in person.  Some may make phone calls reminding voters to go vote on March 19, while others may go door-to-door, or meet for rallies in selected neighborhoods to hand out information cards about the candidate.

Action needed: if you would like to help our efforts in getting Curtis Bostic elected, please respond and let us know how and when you can help with the following:

  • ·         If you are a Facebook users, please “Like” Curtis Bostic for Congresshttp://www.facebook.com/#!/stopspending.
  • ·         Monday, Feb 11 – we need individuals and families to attend the Candidate’s Forum at the Technical College of the Lowcountry.  If you have a Bostic t-shirt, please wear it.  Bring signs to hold as you sit in the auditorium.  We want to have an enthusiastic base of Bostic supporters to fill the auditorium. This event is planned from 6-7 p.m at TCL.
  • ·         We really need folks, especially in Bluffton and Hilton Head, to host open houses at their homes so that Mr. Bostic can meet likely voters and supporters.  If you would like to find out more about this opportunity, please respond and we will send you instructions on how to plan and execute this simple, yet effective event at your home. Several daytime and evening dates are still available if you are considering hosting an open house.
  • ·         Yard Signs – we would be happy to give you a Curtis Bostic support sign to display in your yard.  Please reply and let us know how many signs you need.
  • ·         Business Owners – would you please consider displaying a Curtis Bostic sign or providing postcards about the candidate at your place of business?  Please reply and let us know what you need.
  • ·         Do you belong to a civic group or business group that would consider having Mr. Bostic visit, share his testimony, and/or share his vision for America?  He welcomes this opportunity to meet new people and share his vision for the future.  Please respond if you would like to have Mr. Curtis speak at your group meeting.
  • ·         We need individuals to make phone calls to likely voters. We will supply the list, script, and phones.  We will have a phone bank set up at Campaign Headquarters in Beaufort.
  • ·         We need individuals and families to go door-to-door handing out cards telling about Mr. Bostic. We will put families together, supply the list of selected homes and neighborhoods, and provide the campaign literature.  We will most likely do this on Saturday, February 23.
  • ·         We need individuals and families to wear Bostic t-shirts and hold up campaign signs at major intersections in Beaufort at specified times.  We will coordinate the schedule and locations for those who sign up. You can do a shift for as long or as short as you like.

There will be more events and opportunities to support Mr. Bostic in the future.  We will update this list as needed. Thank you for considering how you can help get him elected.  For more information about Curtis Bostic, please visit www.stopspending.com
