Book Blast Saturday the 11th!
The Book Blast is right around the corner, next weekend to be more exact!
If you haven’t entered your books yet, it is not to late. The system will be open until midnight, June 9th. But don’t wait till last minute. You busy moms just do not need that kind of stress!
My advice is to look through your bookshelves for those books you aren’t using, those manipulatives you bought because you just knew needed them (only not to have touched them at all) and all those other school supplies that are being more clutter than useful at the moment. Then enter everything this weekend (it is supposed to rain anyway.) That way you can spend next week enjoying the summer sun.

Biology & Life of Fred for Sale
I have the Apologia Exploring Creation with Biology materials I would like to sell–the hardback textbook, the solutions & test manual, and the multi-media DVD, all in like-new condition for $55.

Work Needed to Earn Money for FLOW
Dear CBC Members,
My 14 year-old daughter, Margaret, is trying to earn money to attend the FLOW summer camp with the CBC youth. She has only been able to raise around $100, but the cost for camp is $299. She is willing to babysit, do yard work, etc. in order to reach her goal. Please call us at 843-592-0528 if you have a job for Margaret. She has two younger siblings and is well-trained in most household tasks.

Boxtops
The Labels for Education (Campbell Soup Label) Program is coming to a close – forever. As of July 31, they will no longer accept any more labels. Twice per year we are allowed to submit labels for double the value. May is the last opportunity we will have to be rewarded with double points. I need all of your Labels for Education labels by this Sunday so that we can get the submission prepared for the June 1deadline. So go through your cabinets and remove the bar code portion of your labels and turn them in!!
Remember that the box to turn in box tops and labels is located in the resource room of the Children’s Building. With the added security, you can always leave them at the front desk and they will get them to me.
We will continue to collect Box Tops ($0.10 each) as well as Tyson Labels ($0.24 each – these come on frozen Tyson products).
