Sell your books!

Would you like to sell your used curriculum and books at the Book Blast?

http://checonference.com/book-blast-used-curriculum/book-blast-seller-instructions/

The BOOK Blast is a non-profit, volunteer used curriculum sale held in conjunction with the Coastal Home Educators Conference at Community Bible Church in Beaufort, SC. It is undertaken each year as a ministry to the coastal homeschooling community.

You do not need to be a member of Community Bible Church or of CBCCA in order to be a BOOK Blast participant. However, there is an additional 10% processing fee for all non-CBCCA members.

Whether you wish to buy or sell, each participant must register for the conference.

This includes entry into Friday and Saturday’s CHEC including the BOOK Blast, Vendor Hall, Keynote  and all workshops. We hope that you will choose this year to go to our informative workshops and be encouraged by fellow homeschoolers in addition to getting great deals on curriculum!

The BOOK Blast runs from 9:00 – 12:00 am Friday and Saturday.

How Do I Become a Seller?

After you register for the conference you can click here to register as a seller. You are not required to register for the conference in order to start entering your items online, but you will not be an official seller until you have registered for the conference.

What Can I Sell at CHEC?

Our focus is on curriculum, curriculum, curriculum. In addition, readers of all kinds, math manipulatives, science stuff and educational supplemental materials are a must! Bibles, devotionals and educational aids are also welcome.

Keep in mind this not a yard sale, but a place to sell the kinds of things YOU will be looking for to use in your own homeschool next year!

At CHEC our mission is to encourage all homeschoolers, but keep in mind we are a Christian homeschooling group. We will not be able to sell items that conflict with our Christian values. Please use discretion.

What are the Selling Instructions?

After you are registered as a seller, books and materials must be properly labeled. We have two methods for labeling items:

Bar Coding Labeling

This system enables sellers to easily track sales. It also streamlines the sale for buyers and sellers. Added bonus? You will get your money back much more quickly!

CHEC Book Blast Instructions 2013

Don’t have time to barcode? Sheryl Duffy is available to label your books. Click here for more information.

Manual Labeling

You may also manually label your books. There is an additional 10% processing fee for using the manual system. If you are also a non-CBCCA member there is a cap on the processing fee so you will not be charged an additional 10% fee.

Click here for Manual Labeling Instructions

Artes Latinae I and II Available

From Joyce –

I have Artes Latinae I and II available. It is comprehensive and is the only self-teaching program that fulfills the foreign language requirement for college, according to Mary Pride’s Practical Homeschooling review. We were going to use this to finish Angel’s final two years of Latin, but don’t need it now. I bought it, because it is entirely self-teaching (no Latin teacher needed or prior study) and rated tops by Mary Pride at Practical Homeschooling. It was awarded First Place in Homeschool Software. It is self-teaching and places in the student’s hands all of the tools necessary to learn and love the Latin language. Its systematic “programmed” approach to learning provides consistent review and immediate reinforcement.

The Level I, Version 2.0, and Level 2, are current according to the Bolchazy-Carducci website. Each Level sells new for $297.00, but I would sell both Levels for $200. The Level I Latin bundle is complete, except for the Reference Notebook which is consumable and can be purchased from Bolchazy-Carducci for $8. It is not essential to the program.  The Level II Latin bundle is complete.

  • New look and feel for easier navigation and seamless learning experience
  • American Scholastic, Continental Ecclesiastical, and Restored Classical pronunciations are all included on one installation disk
  • Dedicated Artes Latinae forum on Bolchazy Caruducci website for sharing your thoughts and ideas with your peers on Latin learning
  • No disk needed when using Artes Latinae (disk used for installation only)
  • Macintosh compatible (OS X)
  • Runs on current Windows operating systems (Windows Vista, XP, 2000, and Windows 7)

Level 1 Package includes DVD-ROM, Manual, Graded Reader, TM Graded Reader, Test Booklet (consumable), Guide to Unit Tests. Please call or email me, if you have any questions. beaufortjg@gmail.com 843-384-7149
