A Place to Serve at CBC

Are you looking for a place to serve? We are looking for some smiling faces to help with the “concierge service” in the Children’s building.

Who can serve? If you are 18 or over, a church member and have filled out or are willing to fill out a children’s ministry volunteer form. A married couple would be a great fit as we need two people for each time slot.

When would I serve? Only once a month (or more if you wanted); 15 minutes before/after each service. (9:00-9:30 and 10:45-11:15)

Where would I serve? The front foyer entrance of the children’s building.

What would I do? Since the parking in the front of the children’s building is reserved for first time visitors with children;  you would greet families as they came to the door,  help them fill out the child registration form and escort them to classes as needed.

For more info or to volunteer, please contact Claudia: 843-525-0089 or cbcgay@gmail.com

Clemson

You’re invited to visit the Clemson Institute for the Study of Capitalism at CU’s annual Spring Blitz on April 13, 14, 17 and 18.

Spring Blitz is an opportunity to tour Clemson’s campus, attend a college-specific Information Fair and learn more about the Institute for the Study of Capitalism and the Lyceum Scholars Program.
The Lyceum Scholars Program is America’s first academic program dedicated to studying the moral, political and economic foundations of a free society.  The Program awards ten $10,000 scholarships (total over four years) to incoming freshmen.  While applications for Fall 2017 are closed, we strongly encourage home school juniors to learn more about Lyceum in preparation for Fall 2018 scholarships.
Visit us at the Clemson Expo from 11-1 pm in the Hendrix Center Almeda Jacks Ballroom and from 2-3:30 pm at the College of Business Drop-In meeting room A, which is also in the Hendrix Center.

Click here for a link to Spring Blitz events.  (Note:  some events require registration.)
We look forward to seeing you in April!
Best,
Sidney Thompson
