Below are the offerings for homeschoolers during KIDS Life this year.

Session 1 – 9:45
1st-3rd Grade
□ Crafts & Fun from around the World ***
World Showcase-Epcot, eat your heart out! Come and learn fun facts, eat snacks, make crafts, and play games from countries all around the world.
□ Apologia Botany ***
Explore God’s creation with this course designed for grades K-6. This creation-based science program covers the development of plants from seeds, the reproduction process, the way plants make their food, and how plants get their water and nutrients and distribute them throughout the body of the plant.
4th-7th
□ Writing ***
Designed to inspire young writers. This interactive class will include short grammar lessons and creative writing lessons.
□ FitKidz
Our popular kids fitness program will continue with fun and games as well as challenging goals for the kids. Each meeting will include prizes for goals met as well as helping the kids work toward the year end t-shirt!
6th-9th
□ Art ***
Every kid will love this introduction to art.
7th-12th
□ Crown Ministry Financial Study Class ***
Pre-Algebra recommended as a pre-requisite. Field trips will be offered outside of class time and are optional. Growth in teen credit card debt shows a lifestyle of instant gratification and inability (or unwillingness) to live within one’s means. The revised 10-week study is designed to practically help teens create habits of handling money responsibly. Includes: Debt, Counsel, Giving, Work, Saving and Banking.

Our KidsLife program is coming together nicely.
Many have volunteered but we are still in need of women to help with FitKidz at the 9:45 time slot, and I also need an assistant to help the art teacher facilitator with 6-9th graders.
If you help at 9:45 you will be finished at 11:00 so you can attend refreshments and a small Titus group discussion time.

Spanish Classes
Community Bible Church Christian Academy
Spanish I & II Teachers: Jeanah & Janelle Vernoy
We will be offering Spanish I & II this school year for our homeschooling families and their 8th – 12th grade students, on Thursdays in the afternoon (Time and location to be determined) beginning September 15th. This class will represent a high school level course for 1 full credit.
Monthly cost will be $40 per student, per month, with additional siblings costing $30 each per month
Cultural immersion will be minimum one monthly attendance at one of the Spanish ministry events (Sunday PM @ 5:30pm, Rm. 202; Saturday Volleyball, CBC Bft Youth Bldg, 2:00-4:00pm; other events as announced).
Parents will be responsible to purchase ABEKA Spanish I “Por Todo El Mundo” Student Texts A & B (#62375), Vocabulary Manual (#19925), and Test Booklet (#19941). Shipping is free when ordering from ABEKA books. Only one set of materials per family is required.
Parents will need to have their Students to class on time and afterwards, back under their parental supervision no later than 15 minutes after the end of class. Repeated tardiness or failure to pick up children on time after class will result in course termination for the student.
