I will need 200 cupcakes for our “cupcake walk” at the Easter Eggstravaganza planned for Sat. March 30th at Community Bible Church.  If you would like to bake a batch, please email me ASAP at cbcevelyn@gmail.com.
Please bring them plain and drop off in the kitchen no later than Friday, March 29th at noon. Our very own Sue Cerrillo will ice and decorate them for the children.

Seniors, Pastoral and Video Speech Appointments

Just a reminder that ALL seniors need to schedule a pastoral appointment before the end of March.

Video speech appointments are available on Mondays in March beginning March 4th from 1:00-4:00. Please come prepared with your pre-approved speech and music selection (by Pastor Matt) as well as approx. 20 photos on a thumb drive.  Please allow 1 week for Pastor Matt to approve speech and music.

Both appointments may be scheduled by calling Claudia 525-0089.

Homeschool Student Photos

Homeschool Student Photos are THIS WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 27th form 9:45-12:00 pm and 5:00-6:15 pm.  All students of Kid’s Life will be photographed individually and with their classes.  Please send a note if you do not want your child to participate.  SENIORS can wear 2 outfits for pictures (velvet drape available for females, bring a camisole to wear underneath).   Order forms will be available all day and pictures will be available to order online, cash, check, credit/debit are accepted.  Contact Lisa if you have any questions at lobrienphoto@gmail.com

March 19th Teacher Training

Hey Moms,
In case you missed it we will NOT have our March Teacher Training on the 5th, We WILL have it on the 19th @ 7pm!!!!!
We will be joined by Mrs Claudia Gay who will be giving us an Intro to High School.  This training will be designed for the upcoming 6th-12th Grader for the 2013-14 school year and knowledge of what you have to look forward to and prepare your Student and Homeschool for in the near future!

For those not currently looking toward the High School Years will we have Mrs Monica Wilkinson with Classical Conversations giving a short “seminar” on what Classical Coversations is, how it is taught, how it works in your homeschool and what they will be doing next school year.  This is perfect for grades K4-6th!
Doors open at 6:45pm, Classes start at 7:05pm.  There is an On Time Drawing for those who arrive by 7:05pm.  Please bring a Potluck Snack to share during our Fellowship at 8pm, I will be providing Paper Goods and Beverages.  As always if you are not wanting to come to the Training but would like to come to the Fellowship please come at 8pm, if Classes are still going please wait for us in the Cafe.
This is the 2nd to Last Teacher Training this year!  We will have 1 more in April and our End of The Year Prayer and Praise Fellowship in May.  Don’t forget there is a Dad’s Fellowship March 12th at 7pm in the World’s Missions Cafe lead by my Beloved, John Shytle on “How to Support the Home-Schooling Wife and How to Biblically Lead the Home-School Family”. (more details to come)  So remind your Beloved to come a meet other home-school dad’s and have a time of fellowship!

Homeschool Kindergarten Graduation

Homeschool Kindergarten Graduation (Open to all Homeschoolers in the LowCountry) Saturday June 1st (time afternoon, TBA) at Dataw Island Pavilion

I need your orders for Kindergarten Cap, Gown, and Tassle. If you already have a Cap and Gown, you’re borrowing it or it’s being passed down from a sibling you will only need to buy the Tassle with this years date and the Graduation Certificate. The price for ALL will depend on how many are ordered but I believe it will be between $17 and $20 for the whole set. This will include the shipping. Please let me know by March 15th if you will be participating in Graduation and what pieces you will be needing!!!

CBCCA Reports

REMEMBER Reports due to Claudia Thursday Feb 28th! If you aren’t in town on Thursday you can drop off on Wednesday at Women’s Life or Church. If that is not possible Sunday March 3rd will work, but please send her a short email to let her know! Please be responsible to our commitment of home educating our children by getting in our reports in a timely manner!!! March Teacher Training Rescheduled

Due to the showing of “October Baby” by the Beaufort Womens Center next Tuesday night March 5th the March Teachers Training will be held on Tuesday March 19th at 7pm in the World Missions Cafe. This is the 2nd to last Teacher Training of the year!
