Car Needed
Do you have an inexpensive car for sale? Just needs to be in running condition; if there is a little work needed that is OK. Please contact Men’s Ministry leader Aubrey Burton at 263-2513. It is for a single mom.
CBCCA SENIOR CLASS REMINDER
Seniors, time is running out to schedule your slide show testimony appointment as well as your senior appointment with Pastor Larry or Pastor Carl. Please call the office ASAP to schedule these appointments.

Each senior is responsible for making an appointment for their “testimony slide show”. Appointment dates are now available by calling Claudia at the church office. The available appointments are:
1:00 – 4:30 on Tuesdays
9:00 – 11:30 / 12:30 – 4:30 on Fridays until March 20th.
Each video will be approximately 2 minutes. Each senior should choose a maximum of 30 HIGH RESOLUTION pictures, from different stages of childhood as well as one song for background music and prepare a speech keeping in mind the 2 minute time frame. Please make sure your pictures are appropriate. All pictures should be placed on a thumb drive and given to Steve Guthrie.
ADDITIONAL INFO:
· One very nice high resolution photo needs to be chosen to use as the main slide
· Song and speech must be approved by Matt before coming in for an appointment (send via e-mail cbcmatthew@gmail.com or drop at office)
· Speech MUST be 2 min’s or less. Please rehearse BEFORE coming in.

PASS TEST
I (Kelly Erdel) will be coordinating the PASS testing this year. Please email me your name, address, name of child(ren), and grade(s) if interested in using this testing option for 3rd -8th grade. National Engineers Week Open House at USC
Engineers and computer scientists innovate, create and solve problems. They work together to make the world better. They are key to our health, safety and happiness. When children and teens get to experience engineering and computer science, they realize how interesting and fun these professions can be. That’s why the National Engineers Week Foundation – and the College of Engineering and Computing (CEC) at the University of South Carolina – are dedicated to attracting and cultivating the next generation of engineers and computer scientists.
National Engineers Week, which celebrates professionals in all fields of engineering and computing, is this week! With help from our sponsor URS Corporation, the CEC is hosting an Open House geared toward kindergarten through 12th grade students. Please see attached flyer for additional information.
The Open House will be held on Saturday, February 22 from 10am – 1pm at the Swearingen Engineering Center at 315 Main Street on the USC Columbia campus. The free event will feature dozens of interactive exhibits that highlight the CEC’s programs and research including the following:

- Electric and hybrid vehicles
- A concrete canoe
- A cornstarch pool
- Robots
- Computer games

- Lab tours

Crib Available!
I have a dark wood crib that we no longer need and I’d like to give it away to someone who needs it. It has been used by a few of our little ones so it does have some signs of wear.
