Update Greenwalts
Glad to report that God has provided for a cottage for the Greenwalts near their house.
They are extremely grateful for all of the support and encouragement they are receiving as their church family and Christian brothers and sisters reach out to them. If you do not receive a reply to a message, please do not be concerned, there are many details to consider as they sort through their home, care for their business and children and they had a lot of calls to make. I am sure we will need to get a full report to the church when this is all over!
Tristan and Angie give praise to God for His goodness to them and His provision.
Many of you would like to know what you can do to help. Here are some things that the church has suggested that would be helpful.
- Any monetary donations can go through the church – check made to CBC with Greenwalt’s on the memo line.
- If you would like to help with everyday things there will be a meal rotation that Kelly McDaniel will be heading up through Take Them A Meal. I will put out the link as soon as she gets it set up.
- Gift cards of any type would also be helpful, especially for restaurants. These can be left at the church.
We are also working on specific prayer requests for all of the prayer warriors out there. Initially, please pray for this transition, dealing with paperwork, claims adjusters and being able to get enough rest.

Meal Revisions for Mary Ann Tkach
Mary Ann has been having some digestive trouble as a result of her illness. Her doctor has placed her on a bland/BRAT Diet.
If you have signed up for her meal schedule, please adjust your dishes to baked rather than fried, and avoid excessive spices and fatty sauces.

Fire
Just wanted to let everyone know that Tristan and Angela Greenwalt’s house was destroyed in a fire last night.
Please pray for our sweet friends as they walk through this. Tristan posted this on Facebook this morning and we praise God for his protection on him and his family that they are safe –
“God is good!! We are alive and safe and accounted for. Unfortunately we lost our black Lab Lucy in the fire. Please pray for our children to see Gods goodness through all of this!”
Claudia or I will post later to let everyone know any specific needs, but as of now Vince Smith is coordinating. So please know that the church and the body is at work.
Set-Up Help Needed this Saturday 10-2 @ Abundant Life
We have a group going to Hardeeville Saturday to help with set up for the upcoming Daddy Daughter Dance.
The dance is an outreach of Abundant Life Church which Stuart Guthrie is pastoring. The congregation is small… so we could be of great use.
We were hoping for about 15 people to help with wall partitions that need to be put in place, a castle set to construct, displays to paint etc. We have about 10 already from our Frontlines group.
Many hands will make light work if you are available to help. I know that the Guthries will be blessed if you can help.
If you can meet us at CBC at 9:30 we are going to caravan over there on Saturday morning. Or if you already live on that side – we are meeting at Abundant Life in Hardeeville at 10 am.

BOOK Blast June 13th – Volunteer to Help Now!
Save all your homeschool material!
We will be having the Book Blast, used curriculum sale, on Friday. June 13, 2014.
There will be a drop off date at Community Bible Church on Thursday, June 12, 2014. To make it easier for out of town participants to sell their books, we hope to have a couple pick up points as the date gets closer.

Sweet Puppy in Need of Good Home

This is a brittany spaniel that a friend of Susan Gamble is trying to find a good home, preferably on a large piece of land. The owner is raising her 10 year grand daughter and her husband died several months ago. She is overwhelmed and wants to give the dog away. The dog has been spayed, all shots, etc. etc. She is an inside/outside dog that is almost a year old. Mostly house trained.

Dear Homeschooling Families,
Classical Conversations Community of Beaufort would like to make this Standardized Testing option available to you and your families. You do not need to be a member of CC to participate.
Here is the link for anyone who would like to sign up for Standardized Testing which will be made available through our local CC campus.

What you need to do:
Go to the above link and sign up.
Fill in all required boxes and choose which grade level you would like your child tested for.
On the next screen it will give you the option of purchasing a practice test for the test level selected. This is optional but available.
Complete check out and pay for the registered test {s}.
Registration closes March 30, 2014.
Testing Cost:
Cost of the test is $50 payable during the registration process. Cost of the test goes up to $55 after March 23rd.
There is also a $10 fee per student due the first day of the test, please bring $10 cash in an envelope with your child’s name on it.
