Monitor Needed for Dance rehearsals/recital
From Charlotte –
Looking for monitor for rehearsals and recital for our dance studio’s recital for my daughter’s ballet class. Must be an adult with clean record who loves children. Need to be able to assist with getting them ready and shuttle them back and forth to dance. Approx 12-15 hours work total. Dates are May 3-6 not sure whether our rehearsal will be the 3rd or 4th yet … but definitely the 5th (4:30 until?) and 6th (1:30 until?). If you are interested in this please message me. The parents chip in and pay a lump sum per dancer. This would be twelve aged 9-10 year old girls.

Low Loft Polyester Batting Needed
They could be left over scrap pieces that are too small for a quilt, but large enough to maybe cut into 2-3ft strips.
If they would like to donate to the cause, please have them contact me, Sue, and I can arrange to pick it up from them or meet them at church to get it. ( there just isn’t a good place at church for me to collect something like this, so this seems just as easy.)
Please feel free to word it any way you’d like. you can include my email and phone

Bunk Bed for Sale
From Emmy –
Bunk Bed features a full bed on the bottom and a twin on top. It is all wood and the stairs double as a dresser with drawers. The full mattress, twin mattress, and both bunkie boards are also included. It also features a trundle with dividers that provide storage, or can be removed to accommodate a twin mattress. The mattresses are in great shape and have had mattress protectors on them since we bought them. I paid over $1,800 for it with the mattresses, bunkie boards, and trundle. I am selling it for $600. Email me if you are interested. Cash only and you will have to pick it up. Bedding is included.
Thanks,
Emmy
Easter Fellowship
From Gaye –
Hey all! Please join us for a special day of fellowship at Old Sheldon Church Ruins on Easter Sunday! We’ll meet after the second service for a covered dish picnic, an Easter egg hunt for the little ones, and a chance to make some new friends. This is a wonderful opportunity for younger families to connect with older families. Some of us have been gathering together on this special day for about 15 years! It’s a good time to invite military, or single friends out for fellowship. It’s so lovely this time of year!
What you need to bring: chairs or a picnic blanket; a covered dish to share and a dessert of some sort; drinks for your family; an Easter basket with at least a dozen eggs with non melting, non choking candy for each child who wants to participate; a camera; and any friends you’d like to invite. We’ll have plates, napkins, utensils. We’ll have the resurrection eggs to share the gospel with the younger children. We’ll have corn hole, frisbees, and a soccer ball for older kids to kick around. Please note that the closest bathroom is about 3 miles away at the Family Dollar at Gardens Corner.
We’ll plan to eat at 1:45.
If it rains we will celebrate at our own homes 🙂 Pray for a cool sunny bug-free day! And prayerfully ask God who you might invite; an older couple whose children are grown, a new family in our church, military singles, etc….And feel free to forward this email
Directions to Old Sheldon Church:
Take Hwy 21 all the way out to the traffic circle at Gardens Corner. Go through the circle to the left which will put you on Hwy 17 going south. Be careful merging into traffic here, but stay in the right lane because you will take the first right, Old Sheldon Church Road. Go about a mile and you will see the ruins on the right. There is a field to park in across the street. It’s a very busy street, so HOLD CHILDREN’S HANDS as you cross to the ruins.
Looking forward to celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior!!! If you have any questions, text Gaye McNair 843- 441-2084 or sgmcnair@gmail.com
Tennis Anyone?
From Gaye –If anyone has students who will be 13 years old through senior grade who are interested in learning tennis and possibly being a part of a homeschool tennis team, please contact Gaye McNair sgmcnair@gmail.com to sign up. Floyd Washburn, a long time CBC member, is on the local board of Public Tennis, Inc and a USTA member will help us arrange lessons and get this ball bouncing! If enough people contact me we will look at starting some lessons this summer, probably one day a week for 6 weeks. This would be a great way to introduce your kids to this “life” sport while adding hours towards the required PE credit. Fee for lessons $10 a session (Each additional brother or sister is only $5) and that’s a really good deal! Lessons would be held in the Mossy Oaks area.
Don’t put it off…we need to know interest level. Thanks!!!
