Meals for Becky Lock
From Gaye –
Please bless our sweet Becky Lock with meals as she recovers from shoulder surgery she will be having on November 11. You will be feeding 2-3 adults. If you make a casserole or lasagna, instead of making one large one, consider putting it into 2 containers so one can be frozen for later. Please use disposable containers.
You may deliver meals between 4 and 5:30.
Becky had been preparing freezer meals for herself and caregivers to pull out, but she lost it all with the hurricane. Becky has been such a blessing to our church community, and it’s such a privilege to come alongside her at this time! Please remember her surgery in your prayers!!!

Generation Joshua Opportunity –
If you want to make a difference in the 2016 Elections you have come to the right place!
Generation Joshua is organizing hundreds of volunteers to deploy this fall to select elections across the United States. They will be the final adrenaline needed to make a difference in these races. If you want to be a part of this incredible opportunity, you need to join GenJ and volunteer on the Student Action Teams!
We will be working in races across the country. We have historically targeted states like: Florida, Ohio, Virginia, Colorado, Iowa, and New Hampshire.
Frontlines Meals Needed!
CBC Members!
We need people to volunteer to cook dinner on Thursdays for the Frontlines youth ministry at CBC.
Sign up today at: http://www.takethemameal.com/meals.php?t=LEGR9659.
Dinner is served from 6 -7 PM. A main dish, a side dish and a dessert(s) are needed each week to feed about 60-75 people. Drinks, cups, plates and silverware, etc. will be provided. There is a weekly budget of $125.00. You can turn your receipt into Drew Kuehl or directly to Caren in the front office for reimbursement.
You may cook at your own home or at the Youth building (however, the oven on the stove doesn’t work very well). You can cook by yourself or with a friend and bring the food to the youth building by 5:30 PM so that everything can be set up to be served by 6 PM.
If you have any questions please call Mary Ann Tkach at (843) 812-5106. Please also check out the CBC Student Ministry-Wired Facebook page for more info.
This is a wonderful way to serve the youth at CBC. Thanks in advance to all who sign up to help. http://www.facebook.com/groups/cbcwired

Woman’s Life Begins Sept. 14th!
A Titus 2 Ministry
Woman’s Life is a place for solid Bible teaching and practical application geared specifically for women in all seasons of life. Woman’s Life is a place for women to connect and encourage each other in their walks with God. Woman’s Life is a place to grow. Whether you are a young mom, a grand-mother, single, college age – no matter what – Woman’s Life is designed for you.
Woman’s Life meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from 10 am until 12:15 pm September through April. The structure of the morning: We meet for large group teaching in the worship center, then break for fellowship and food in the cafe, and finally gather in small groups we call Titus fellowships led by a seasoned older woman.
KIDS Life

A light supper followed by a wonderful time of biblical instruction, discussion and fellowship is led by Gaye McNair. (Childcare is not available during the evening sessions.) There is also a small group of teenage girls that meet during this time. This year there is also a group that meets at our Bluffton Campus.

Car Needed
Hey everyone, we have a family friend in Columbia who is needing a car ASAP. She doesn’t have much $ and she needs something reliable. If you know anyone selling something affordable, or if any of you are selling a vehicle, please let me know and I’ll pass on the tip to her. She is on her own (divorced) and doesn’t know a lot about cars so I think car buying is hard for her.
Thank you
