The Divine Blueprint for Building a Family of Faith

In Deuteronomy 6, God’s simple and effective plan for the family begins with parents loving God with everything in them and having His word on their hearts. When parents have established their own relationship with God and His word, they are equipped to teach their children to love God and His word.

10:30-11:45

Biblical Principles of Communication for the Family

Loving God and each other are relationships. Relationships are built on edifying communication. No one can build up, or tear down, more than those that we love the most. In this workshop we will examine how to hear and understand each other in a safe place.

Lunch

1:00-2:15

Loving Your Family as God Has Loved Us

The second command is to love others as we want to be loved. But the ‘new commandment’ that Jesus calls us to implement, is to love others as we have been loved by Him. This is a different perspective that focuses our attention on Jesus Himself and how He has loved us.

Join Us! Cry Out Simulcast Prayer Event Hosted at CBC Sept 23rd from 7-10 pm

TW16-simulcast-social-1.psdJoin us at Community Bible Church on September 23rd for this exciting prayer event!

Imagine: hundreds of thousands of women gathered in thousands of locations seeking God together for such a time as this!

What could be more vital at this critical time, than for women to bow together before the God of heaven and earth and cry out to Him for our world, our nation, our churches, our cities, and our homes?

This is the heartbeat behind the Cry Out! Simulcast, a nationwide prayer event for women, taking place on Friday, September 23. Women across the nation—and around the world—will be gathering together to pray. And you can be a part of this movement. Find out how at http://www.CryOut16.com/

Car Needed

Hey everyone, we have a family friend in Columbia who is needing a car ASAP. She doesn’t have much $ and she needs something reliable. If you know anyone selling something affordable, or if any of you are selling a vehicle, please let me know and I’ll pass on the tip to her. She is on her own (divorced) and doesn’t know a lot about cars so I think car buying is hard for her.

Thank you
