Free Piano

From May Devlin –
We have an older piano in need of a good home.  Works fine, just needs tuned.  It is a great beginner instrument.  Needs to be picked up and will take a couple strong men to move it.  Email if interested.

Scholarship opportunities –

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Here is a great opportunity for graduating seniors.

The scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors related to active duty/retired military with an affiliation with MCRDPI, MCAS, or NHB.  Criteria is detailed in the application.

Selection is not limited to one recipient and the amount of the scholarship will depend on fundraising events as well as the number of scholarships granted.  We will give the top five applicants a min of $1000 each. If we don’t have five applicants then the funds will be divided evenly to those qualified selected applicants.

Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional information.  I appreciate your assistance in distributing the application to area high schools.

Sincerely,

Keturah Maraska

KIDS Life Info – Women’s Life Starts January 28th

Dear Moms,
During the next semester of Kid’s Life, the older children will be focusing on “Fads,” along with their fitness goals. On the first meeting, January 28th, we will be using the famous Rainbow Loom. if you have a Rainbow Loom we can borrow, or bands to donate, please drop them off at the first grade Sunday School classroom during the 9:15 hour. Also, do not forget to write your name on it somewhere, so we can return it to you promptly afterwards. Thanks again to those that donated shoe boxes, food cans, and frozen chickens! Also, the Kid’s Life Friends of Caroline Hospice tree won second place in the middle school category! We will be sending home the ornaments made by your children after the next meeting.
Thank You,
Kristie Schubert and Melissa Magbee
