I welcome any ideas from those of you who might be interested in leading or helping in a class.  Several classes are already in place.

Don’t forget meeting at 10 am Monday at St. Helena Library

Maria Benac, St. Helena Library manager, has invited all interested homeschoolers to an informational, idea generating, new school year programming meeting. st helena library

This beautiful facility is full of resources just waiting to be used. Although it is a bit further than the downtown library, it is very available for homeschoolers (and the whole community).

Maria is open to programming ideas and ways the library can help you with homeschooling!

The St. Helena branch has a full Apple lab that is conducive to classes on producing videos and commercials as well as robotics programs.

Please come on July 28th @ 10 am  to 6355 Jonathan Francis Senior Road, St. Helena, SC 29920

And another thought…. maybe if we use this library it will give us an opportunity to reach out to others in the St. Helena community.

Etiquette Class Update

From Cindy Malphrus –

I have had such a huge response to the Etiquette class offering that I am considering offering it on 2 different days in order to accommodate everyone.

I have been approved by the church to hold my classes in the youth building on Tuesdays from 12:30-2:30 folowing Mrs Stephanie Fowler’s class. Also- I will offer a Thursday morning class from 10:30-12:30, before Stephanie’s Thursday afternoon class. We will have food at both classes.

Please RESPOND and let me know which day you prefer. The cost will be $40 per month per child for the first and $30 for the second child.

I will be scheduling a parent meeting in August and the classes will begin Tuesday, Sep 2nd.  I will update everyone on the parent meeting date and time.

Please pass the word about this class! There are a lot of unsaved families who homeschool! We will be going through the fruit of the Spirit and how our manners are clear evidence of fruit in our lives! And- with any luck, we will be Shagging like pros!   Cindy Malphrus cindyemalphrus@gmail.com

Interested in robotics, an Apple Lab and exciting programs for your 3-18 year olds? Come July 28th @ 10 am for info!
