Help Needed for Steve Demme Conference

steve demmeSteve Demme is back for the Building Faith Families conference on August 20th. This is almost like a homeschool conference – just without the purse emptying experience of vendor hall!

I am very excited that Steve has made himself available to come back to our church to encourage families in our community with his message. Please mark your calendars today and save the date.

I hope you will also consider becoming a member of the conference team. We need a lot of help to pull off something like this!

Needed – Registration table in Atrium before and between services. Please sign up for times/dates!

Needed – On site registration help the day of conference! August 20th.

Needed – Someone to help me with set up and break down.

CHEC Canceled 2014 – Book Sale Possible

I got an email today from someone inquiring about the details for the conference. It occurred to me that there is nothing on the CBCCA site referencing it this year, so I just wanted to let everyone know that we are still not holding the conference this year:  http://checonference.com/2013/08/26/chec-2014-canceled/.

There are a couple of people working on organizing a used book sale, but this is still not a definite, so I will update here when details become available.

Thanks for all of your support and encouragement for Joyce and I over the past eight months.

CHEC 2014 Canceled

Hello everyone –

I am sorry to say that we will be canceling CHEC 2014.
Both my husband and Joyce’s husband are seriously ill/injured and we will be devoting this year to their recovery/taking care of our children and families.
We are unsure whether the BOOK Blast will proceed, but I will update you as soon as possible.
I am hopeful that Lord willing, we will be able to pick CHEC back up in 2015, but it remains to be seen.
Thankful to all of you that have made CHEC a success.

Door Prizes and Early Registration Prizes – Must Be Registered By Midnight!
Congratulations to our two previous early registration winners, there will be a final drawing for $10 in CHEC bucks for everyone registered by midnight tonight!
We have some great door prizes to give away this year! Register by MIDNIGHT TONIGHT to be eligible to win door prizes at the conference! Be sure to look for your name on the white board, near registration, to see if you have WON! Winners names will also be posted outside of various workshops.
Door Prizes will be available for pick up at the registration table, after 12 pm on Friday and all day Saturday.
