Classical Conversations Testing Dates

TESTING IN BEAUFORT & HHI
The Classical Conversations campuses of Hilton Head and Beaufort will be hosting on-site testing of the Stanford-10 National Achievement Test to meet the needs of homeschooling families in our area.
Testing will be offered to students 1st grade and up.
Beaufort:
Testing dates: April 25 – 26 (Monday and Tuesday)
Location: Shell Point Baptist Church, 871 Parris Island Gateway, Beaufort
Start Time: 9:00 A.M.
Registration closes: April 3rd
Hilton Head:
Testing dates: May 2 – May 3 (Monday and Tuesday)
Location: Grace Community Church, 450 Spanish Wells Rd,
Hilton Head
Start Time: 9:00 A.M.
Registration closes: April 10th
Costs per student:
Test: $50 (payable at registration).
Proctor Fee: $10 proctor fee (payable on the day of testing).

Click “On-site Testing with SAT-10”
then the “Register Now” icon (bottom of screen).
Search for the Beaufort testing event on the April calendar OR the Hilton Head testing event on the May calendar.
Click on the appropriate event and simply follow the instructions to register your child.
Payment is due at the time of registration (except for Proctor Fee).

Stanford Testing 2016
CBC Homeschool STANFORD ACHIEVEMENT TESTING 2016
The Stanford Achievement Test will be administered to homeschooling students this spring. This testing
situation is available to CBCCA students as well as non-CBCCA/non-CBC homeschool students. The details
are as follows:
Place: Community Bible Church, Children’s Building
Dates: May 3 – May 5, 2016 (Tuesday – Thursday)
Grades: 4 – 12
Testers: Audrey Broggi, Cindy Smith, Ninette Hodgins
Time: 8:45 – 12:00 (approximate)
Administrative Fee: $40.00 per student.
Payment preferred in the form of a check made out to CBC, with “Stanford Test fee” written in the memo.
Give to Claudia Gay or Laura Caldwell (Front Desk of main building.
Deadline is April 8. No student will be tested Without Payment.

Parents are responsible for ordering and paying for the Stanford Achievement Tests
(NOT the Stanford/OLSAT) for their child (children). The instructions are:
1. Order online (bjupresstesting.com) or call BJUP (800.845.5731). You will be ordering the Stanford
Achievement Test (the SAT/TASK) according to the grade level of your student this spring.
2. Should order by March 25, 2016 in order to ensure timely delivery to test administrator.
3. You will need to identify the tester as Ninette Hodgins. Ninette’s tester ID number is 910564.
4. BJU will require you to verify that you homeschool your child (children).
5. On the same day you order your test, please e-mail Ninette (ninette3126@hargray.com) with the following
information:
a. Child’s first, middle initial, last name c. preferred parent contact information-
– phone number or e-mail
b. Grade level d. birthdate
4. Tests will be shipped to Ninette. The day after testing she will mail the tests back to BJU. The parent
(purchaser) will be notified by BJU when the results are ready for review online, usually within 10 business
days from the day the tests are received back at BJU.

PSAT Wed October 15th
*PSAT REMINDER*
The testing date for the PSAT is this Wednesday, Oct. 15th. If you have not registered, you will need to call the local high schools to see if there is a test slot still available. Taken in the junior year, the PSAT might qualify your student for the National Merit Scholarship Program. The PSAT might also qualify your student for the Duke TIP program if taken in the 7th grade. Brigance Testing INFO SESSIONS
On Tuesday, June 10th at 7:00 p.m. in the café, and again at The CBCCA Book Blast on June 13th from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, Tracey Holmes and Sharon Strever will be on hand to discuss the Brigance Test. This is especially geared toward struggling or non-traditional learners and is a great alternative to assess students’ abilities and can help provide for clarity in discerning curriculum choices, goal setting, and school year planning. This test will be offered by CBCCA on a case by case basis in lieu of PASS or SAT tests.

Pass tests are in! I will be in the atrium before and after the 9:15 service on Sunday, May 11. If you need to make other arrangements due to attending the Bluffton campus, please let me know.
